Before joining the legal profession, Craig Cleckler enjoyed a long and successful career in the commercial insurance industry as a field underwriter of large industrial plants – experience that has proven extremely invaluable to the firm. In addition, Craig served as a law enforcement officer with over 15 years experience. He is a former instructor to new police cadets on individual civil rights issues and is currently a sitting Municipal Judge.
Born in North Carolina in 1958, Craig was admitted to the Bar in Alabama in 2002. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Education from the University of Montevallo and a Juris Doctor Degree from Birmingham School of Law. His areas of practice include big truck (18 wheeler) accidents, nursing home abuse, drunk or drugged driving wrecks, electrocutions, propane /natural gas fires, and wrongful death.
