A confidential settlement was reached on the third day of a jury trial concerning the death of a young father. The plaintiff’s father was a concrete truck driver who was killed after he lost control of his truck and veered sharply into a ditch on the side of the road. Eye-witnesses confirmed that the truck’s right front tire tread had completely separated from the tire, causing the driver to lose control.
