Kirk Davenport was able to achieve a significant settlement in a complicated case involving a house explosion in North Alabama. Our client’s home was destroyed and she suffered serious burns and injuries. Natural gas was allowed to seep into the home through an abandoned water line following a power outage. When the power came back on the gas was ignited, and disaster struck. Our forensic investigation revealed that the gas and water lines had ruptured due to improper electrical grounding and improper placement of the gas line. A confidential settlement was reached with the utilities involved.
